Install Memspire

On a Mac

    Open the file you downloaded, Memspire.dmg, from your Downloads folder.

  2. 2

    Drag Memspire into your Applications folder.

  3. 3

    Open Memspire from Applications.

  4. 4

    The first time only: confirm Memspire once

    Memspire is new, so macOS asks you to confirm it once. Try to open Memspire, and macOS will say it can't verify the app. Close that message (don't move it to the Trash), then:

    • Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and scroll down.
    • Click Open Anyway.
    • Confirm with your password or Touch ID.
    On macOS 12 or earlier

    Open System Preferences → Security & Privacy → General, then click Open Anyway.

    After that, Memspire opens normally every time.

On Windows

    Click Download from the Microsoft Store. If your browser asks, choose Open Microsoft Store.

    In the Store, click Get. It installs with no security warnings.

  3. 3

    Open Memspire from the Start menu.

    Add the extension to Chrome

    The app opens the Chrome Web Store for you. Click Add to Chrome, then confirm.

Which AI services does it work with?

ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

Do my conversations leave my computer?

No. Your conversations stay on your computer. Memspire's servers only know your account, your app version, your subscription status, and any support messages you choose to send us.

Do I need Google Chrome?

Yes. Memspire captures and imports your conversations through its Chrome extension. Edge and Brave can install it from the Chrome Web Store, but setup is designed for Chrome.

How do I uninstall?

On a Mac, drag Memspire from Applications to the Trash. On Windows, go to Settings → Apps → Memspire → Uninstall.
